Sperry Lower Ball Turret

The turret was so small that only men of the smallest stature could fit into it.

Machine Guns

One of two staggered waist 50-caliber machine guns (located in the waist gunner position). Ammo was fed using the flexible feed chute leading from the wooden box fastened to the fuselage.

The K-7 gun mount used gears and cables to feed azimuth and elevation information to compensating the K-13 gunsight at rear of gun.

Special recognition and gratitude goes to Jeff Sibley Designs of Austin, Texas
for the panoramic views and other photographic contributions to this site.
