I wish to make known my appreciation to the EAA. You made it possible for my husband and I to fulfill a lifelong dream! I have at last flown in a B-17. I took a flight today, June 24, at Hinkley Field in Utah. Your staff may remember the crazy little English lady…that is me I was so excited. My husband took many photos so that I may see them and remember – again – the wonder of that flight.

Your staff was outstanding in their consideration of me, and for their help both inside and out of the plane. Their knowledge of the plane and its history were also outstanding. The pilots made a better landing than in a 757 landing I had in May, and I was given more assistance in entering the plane than in the 757. I chose this flight over a strip home to England. My husband became a member so I can probably read the magazine also.

What made it even better was that no one realized I was legally blind!!
